“It’s a great day for our state and our country,” said David E. Whittaker, Executive Director of Chicago Area Project. “Under the leadership of Governor Blagojevich, Illinois has become a leader in caring for its children and disadvantaged families. The Chicago Area Project has a history of serving low-income families and we are particularly aware of the severe impact that inadequate healthcare has on our children. That’s why we are extremely pleased with the unveiling of the Governor’s All Kids program. All Kids will have a profound impact on the health and wellbeing of children throughout Illinois.”
